A one-time lump sum payment of 1% of the annual salary, in accordance with the tariff schedule that came into effect on 15 November 2015, will be paid to all teachers under contract on that date and will be paid by the end of December 2015. While the association is the duly certified bargaining agent for teachers employed by the Board of Directors, and in accordance with the 2012-2016 Provincial Framework Agreement, teachers who feel that there has not been enough time spent on professional development can contact the head of the school and, if necessary, the superintendent or his appointees. If they are not satisfied with the decision of the superintendent or his appointees, the association may refer the matter to the emergency committee. The exceptional committee will share recommendations with all parties. b) The full-time equivalent (RDT) of a teacher for teaching is approximately 890 hours per school year, depending on the number of scheduled classe days, but no more than 896.2 hours. 9.2.6.1 if teachers do not receive a tooth allowance under clause 4.2.1, 4.2.2; 4.2.3, 4.2.4, 4.2.5 or 4.6 of this agreement are considered permanent members of the schools to which they were assigned when the leave was granted or 5.2.2 As of 1 September 2017, the duration of consecutive employment during the school year is not considered interrupted or consecutive if a leave does not follow, teachers` congress, professional day or other breaks regulated by the system interrupt the continuity of the substitute in the classroom. The parties agreed to participate in the Alberta School Employee Benefit Response Plan (EIPP) Response Plan. The objective of the program is to facilitate the teacher`s early return to work after a part-time illness or injury. Participation in the EIPP is strictly voluntary for each teacher.

15.9 Representatives of TEBA and the association meet within 15 days of operation to discuss the difference or at a later date, which is consensual for both parties. By mutual agreement between TEBA and the association, representatives of the board of directors concerned with the difference may be invited to participate in the discussion on difference.
