Secretary's Report
Minutes for April 19, 2008
The meeting was called to order by President Jennifer KG4YDC. There were 13 members and one guest present.
The minutes for the March meeting were approved as posted on the web site.
Gretchen KE4HGX gave a treasurer’s report and it was approved.
The repeaters are both doing fine according to Trustee Wes KS4XQ. The site clean-up was postponed due to rain.
Old Business: Jennifer KG4YDC said the March for Babies will start at Old Market Square in Easley.
The purchase of club equipment was voted on and approved. Brian KR4SP gave his quotes from HRO for the radios. It was decided to start a special fund and a goal for the equipment. Fund raising was discussed, including the donation of the 50/50 raffle from each meeting.
Insurance for the club equipment will be purchased.
A drawing was held for the 50/50 raffle.
